About the Department
Built for Real Call-Outs
The Fire Department is one of Flame Point's most active roleplay divisions. Members respond to dynamic incidents — structure fires, vehicle collisions, hazmat scenes, and technical rescues — with realistic apparatus, equipment, and radio procedure. Training is ongoing, and members progress through the ranks as they build experience and take on more responsibility.
Whether you're looking for fast-paced action roleplay or the slower-paced structure of running a shift and mentoring new recruits, there's a place for you in the department.

Fire Chief
Head of the department — final authority on policy, promotions, and department standards.
Deputy Fire Chief
Second-in-command — oversees department operations and stands in for the Fire Chief.
Assistant Fire Chief 1
Senior chief officer overseeing a major department function.
Assistant Fire Chief 2
Senior chief officer overseeing a major department function.
Chief of Staff
Manages department administration, scheduling, and coordination between leadership and staff.
Division Chief
Oversees multiple battalions and coordinates large-scale operations.
Safety Officer
Responsible for on-scene safety standards and enforcing department safety procedures.
Battalion Chief
Commands major incidents and oversees multiple companies within a battalion.
Captain
Commands a station/shift and manages day-to-day company operations.
Lieutenant
First-line supervisor on a crew, reporting to the Captain.
Engineer
Operates and maintains apparatus (engines, ladders) on scene.
Firefighter 2
Experienced firefighter cleared for full duty on all calls.
Firefighter 1
Entry-level firefighter, completing training under supervision.
